Oak Mountain High School Cross Country Invitational
September 17, 2022
Join us for the most fun cross country race of the season: Oak Mountain Cross Country Invitational Race. Again this year: MS and HS races are on separate days! This should make for easier parking, more available restrooms, and improved spectator views of the creek! The meet is located at Heardmont Park directly behind OMHS football stadium. The course is a true cross country course including several creek crossings, gravel, mud, and grass throughout. Tight turns, long straights, plenty of trees, and mild hill. The 5K features a double loop. Approximately 50m of the course is on a paved cart path. The area after the creek gets very muddy after a few races; Spikes are highly recommended. Improved spectator views of the creek.
